Benjamin's Baptism

Benjamin Matthew Estes was baptized this morning at my fieldwork congregation St. Paul's Lutheran Des Peres, MO. We thank God for the gracious gift of forgiveness of sin that he has given to Benjamin in the waters of baptism. His godparents are Russ and Kris Troester our friends from the seminary. We were accompanied by many friends and family members as we celebrated God's gracious work in Ben's life. Boy, are we tired!!!

Imagine how mommy feels having to deal with not just one, but two lazy men sleeping in on a Tuesday morning. OK, so Benjamin has an excuse, he's doing a lot of growing, but dad . . .well he was resting up for classes!

Congratulations to our cousins in Florida, Brad and Jenna, upon the arrival of their baby girl Savannah Belle. We thank and praise God for her safe arrival and that Jenna is doing well after her labor!
