First Maternity Purchase

So I made my first maternity wear purchase - a cute pair of cropped jeans from Target. I'm a sucker for a deal and the price was too good to pass up. It's so funny because I can't wait to start wearing maternity clothes, but I know that when I'm there, I'll be thinking how crazy I was to want to get there. I'm officially at 10 weeks as of yesterday and our baby is the size of a walnut! I just read that he'll triple in size in the next 3 weeks from 1 to 3 inches! That's a lot of growing!

Joy riding

Yes, yes, we know the stroller is for the baby, but Ashton had to try it out! We're so blessed to already have this awesome stroller. It does some pretty sweet stuff like converting from a rear-facing carriage, to a forward facing upright stroller! I think the only thing it doesn't have is On Star and a GPS!

Morning Sickness

Anyone who knows me, knows I can eat. So this pregnancy thing has thrown me for a loop! I can't believe that coffee smells bad and meat is a turn-off. Fortunately, this seems to be subsiding. Don't worry, I'm definitely not wasting away!

Our first baby picture!

It came as quite a surprise when Eric and I were at my doctor's office for an ultrasound a couple weeks ago to investigate some abdominal pain and it turned out that I was pregnant! We have since had a second ultrasound yesterday. They said everything looked great. The baby measured right at 8 weeks, which I have read means he's the size of a grape. Here's the picture we received from the second ultrasound. What a cute little rump!

Welcome to our blog!

So I thought I'd jump on the blogging bandwagon too. This is so much easier than a webpage! It seems like everyone at the Sem has a blog and its such a great way to keep everyone up to date. Welcome to the Estes Escapades!
